3eep is a Grass Roots Sports social network platform that is currently operating in Australia (Sportsplay.net.au), Canada (freemyteam.com), and Germany (Sportexx.de)

 

 

Appnexus provides cloud computing solutions with a particular focus on publisher and advertising networks. CEO Brian O'Kelly was formerly the CTO og Right Media which was sold to Yahoo

 

 

Arasor is an optical semiconductor company that is developing consumer laser displays. Benefits include lower cost, lower power requirements, longer life (no burn in problems). Has the potential to really change the face of displays

 

 

Atlassian is an Enterprise Software company that sells its products using a Consumer Software model. Products include JIRA bug tracking, and Confluence (wiki). Atlassian has enjoyed strong consistent growth and has customers around the globe.

 

 

Audinate is an Audio Networking company that has solved the problem of how to accurately synchronise audio when it's distributed over IP networks. Benefits include faster setup time, fewer cabling errors, and a result substantially lower costs. Their technology was recently used for the World Youth Day held in Sydney.

 

 

Enikos has built the Enikos Media Platform (EMP) on top of the MPEG-21 standard to help advertisers and agencies quickly create rich media experiences involving multiple media elements. Enikos is spinoff from the Smart Internet Technology CRC and the University of Wollongong.

 

 

Mooter Media provides services to publishers and advertiser networks that enable the rapid aggregation and segmentation of web pages for more accurate tag generation and hence better monetisation. Their goSegment offering is of particular interest since it automates the tagging process for ad networks and facilitates rapid re-channelisation of inventory for better monetisation.

 

 

Ning was founded by Marc Andreesen and Gina Bianchini on the premise of double viral loops where the platform is deliberately designed to allow social networks to spawn and spliter to create additional social networks. The result is an ever expanding mesh of networks that now exceeds 370,000 in number

 

 

Plugger is an Australian News aggregator that goes beyond the standard article lists and RSS feeds. Plugger provides a number of news analysis, trending, and relationship visualisation tools that enable marketers to tap the zeitgeist by industry, company, or person.
 Pollenizer has been likened to an Australian YCombinator. Phil Morle and Mick Lubinskas have served stints as the CTO and CMO of Kazaa respectively and leverage their experience to help emerging companies accelerate their offerings to market. Their gurus-for-hire model is in high demand and fills a vital niche in the Australian startup scene.
